This site not only provides the opportunity to meet other individuals who share your religious beliefs, but also to start your own religion. The laws and regulations of the country or state you are starting your religion in will determine the legally of such action.

There are a couple of ways to raise money for your religious cause. The first is through donations. Again, we are not lawyers or even accountants, so your taxes are your issue. There is some interesting information about starting a church or religious organization at www.hushmoney.org.

Accepting Tithe is easy:

1) Sign up at Paypal if you don't already have a PayPal account. You may have to verify a bank account with them to use merchant services...not sure, buy you probably have already done that if you have spent any time on eBay.

2)Click the Merchant Services tab

3) Click on the Donations link under Key Features for the first option (PayPal Website Payments Standard)

4) There are some customizable options...but you can just hit Create Button Now at the bottom.

5) Copy the code into the donations section of your profile. The button will appear. If you know html you can customize how it looks and where it appears.


The second way to earn cash for your religious cause is by displaying advertising within your profile. It is your responsibility to determine the legal and tax implications of this method of revenue generation. Any fund raising a religious organization does is suppose to be from activities directly related to the mission of that organization. But how is a bake sale any different than collecting ad revenue? Either way.....this site is for entertainment purposes.

To display advertising on your religion profile:

2) Login to your account and click AdSense Setup

3) Created the look of the add you want. You don't have to choose what ads to display...Google does this based on the information of the page where the ads are displayed (i.e. your church / religion profile page)

4) Use www.isgodreligious.com as the domain. This indicates where the ads will be placed, but not where the money goes (you will specify that within the AdSense wizard as well).

5) Copy the code displayed into the donations section of your profile.

Now every time someone visits your profile page clicks on one of your Google ads, you will get paid.

You can view the stats from your Google ads by logging into your Google Adsense account. You can also view how many donations or religious tithings you have received by logging into your PayPal account.

TIP: You can place both the advertising and the donation code in the same donations field in your profile. You may want to use some html or css to style them.

TIP 2: You can also display other banners or affiliate links within your donations section....Google Adsense just seems to be the easiest.
